If the startup has been set up as a Private Limited Company, (as defined in ComPANies Act, 2013) or as a Partnership Firm (registered under section 59 of the Partnership Act, 1932) or as a Limited Liability Partnership (under the LLP Act, 2008) in India over a period of 10 years, which was earlier 7 years.
  4. If the firm has been working for the innovation development or improvement of products or pROCesses or services, or if it is a scalable business model with either employment generation or wealth creation.
  5. If the firm has approval from the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) and is funded by an Incubation Fund, an Angel Fund or a Private Equity Fund
  6. There is a patron guarantee from the Indian Patent and Trademark Office, for it is necessary.
  7. All the details of the funding must be registered with SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India)
